Sno Much Fun!
These are the skates we used as kids. From the Penny's catelog and a garage sell, mom said. They got new ones for Christmas. And I might even buy myself a pair. I remember skating at the pond south of the house with Jennifer when I was little. Then with Matt and the Cullen boys playing hockey. The girls are good, too. I like that.

Christmas in Atlantic
One of my most vivid memories of childhood is going to visit Santa Claus in Atlantic, shopping at Alco, and eating at the Redwoods.
I remember standing in line. In the cold. By the silly toy soldier guys. And the warmth of the cabin once we finally got in. And by all accounts then, and to the best of my knowledge now, the one and only Santa was inside.
It's a magical feeling. To be able to see something, or in this case, someone, you believe in so strongly. You don't forget it.
So I love that we still do this. I love that you guys go with me to take the kids. I love that it's still important to you, too. If I fast forward time, I can already see the babies of yours that are yet to be born, standing there among us. This is a wonderful tradition. It wouldn't be Christmas without it.
