Curly Babies
June 25, 2008
This is out of order, but I know how people yell at me when I post date things . . .
It was so humid out that day, and the girls' hair had the cutest little rings. I just love it that their hair is so curly. I'm sure they will be stealing my Chi straighting iron some day.

The After Party
Joni and Jess - do you remember doing this down at Ruby's? Notice how it almost hits Richard's truck. It about gave me a heart attack. Next launch . . . not so lucky. I about died.

For You, Jessie - Parade Pictures
Friday, July 4, 2008
Grace and Jennie
Faith and Josie
Jennie says "See!"
Grace, Emma, Josh and Faith picking up candy.
The twins scored some necklaces . . .they were so adorable. My pictures don't do them justice.
Honestly, Jessica, the hours leading up to the parade are a blur. I'm sure you can imagine. Here are a few off my little camera - I haven't downloaded the ones off my other one. And I think Steve will send me some, too. I didn't get pictures of the decorating, or the signs on the back of the vehicles that said their names. Or even a good one of the girls in their dresses. Maybe because I was just glad they made it there. Naps taken and all. Mom and Dad had to go to Gerald Sychra's to get a charger for the Gator because Shane forgot ours. Grace hardly fits behind the wheel anymore. We had to strap Josie and Faith in with one of Shane's trailer straps because the Gator doesn't have seatbelts. And trust me, Josie would have fallen out without it. Faith had a breakdown right before they took off, and started sobbing - she got nervous. I told her she had to suck it up. They did about 90 down Main. Matt and Shane walked - ran - with them. (Josh and Emma were on the four-wheeler.) Kim and I ran down the sidewalk, waiting for the injuries. All was good, though, in the end. All four of the kids were really cute. But you know how it goes.
After party pics next . . .

Adios! Off to Spain . . .

Headed off to Spain the next day.
Josie is picking up on Eddie's tongue thing.
I took about eighty of these. Why oh why is it so hard sometimes. This is the least naughty one of Faith.
We have a tradition of eating at Los Tres Amigos the night before Jessie leaves the country. This has happened more times than one would think. Anyway, we had a sending off party for Jessie and Eddie before they embarked on their three week party in Spain. Hope she comes back alive. They are running with the bulls . . .

The Cast is Off and the Pool is On.

The twins are adored. I love the way Grace is looking at Josie.
Caitlyn came over and played with the girls.
Faith, Jennie, Grace and Josie
So believe it or not, this was the first time the pool was out this season. Faith was supposed to wait longer to get her arm wet where the pins were, but enough was enough. So they were playing all day long. Clayton, Shanli and Coy came over, too, and I'm sure Coy wanted in. Clayton and Shanli left wet, from diving in to save drowning children.
Swimming lessons start next week . . .
