More Timber

Jennifer gives the best kisses.

If their father was Eddie, this would be a nice family picture.

Talking to each other.

To me, there is no better way to spend a day. I love doing this. I love dirt in the kids' fingernails. I love the mud on the boots. I love talking about beavers and frogs. I love throwing sticks and rocks. I love the freedom of a dirt road and 4-wheel drive.

I really have my heart set on an old pickup . . .

Back at It

The girls love to pull this bench up to the window so they can sit and watch the world go by . . . or at least a dog. (a.k.a. "dog dogs")

Sometimes they fight for positioning. Someone usually ends up taking an elbow. Almost always someone is pushed off the end. Looks like Josie might have been the victim this time - she's got the pink blankie.

But anyway, I'm gonna try to update my blog better. I've been distracted by the evils known as Facebook. But I'm pretty confident I've looked through everyone's photo albums enough to keep abreast of the most important goings-on in my friends' lives for awhile. So back to my own life. I've looked around enough to know that I've got the cutest kids, anyway.

Prayers

I tucked in the girls tonight, and I said, "Say your prayers."

And Grace and Faith, laying in bed, closed their eyes and clasped their hands.

"Thank you, God, for Faith," prays Grace.

"God, I hope I don't itch," prays Faith.

Full Bunny Assault

Really, this shouldn't be happening.

Lets be honest, the Easter Bunny is scary. The twins just said, "no." They weren't havin' it. The only reason Faith is up there is because we made fun of her for being scared of Santa, and she can't live with someone thinking she is scared of something. So she redeemed herself with the Bunny. And then he assaulted her. Great.

New Kids - Part II

Idk why this is so small, but it's the picture out of the DMS Register.

Donnie Walberg

Jordan Knight

We caught them in Omaha. Then low and behold, they decided to come to Des Moines. Wiser this time, we got closer. Very close. I touched them all. Donnie gazed into my eyes. There was something there. We both knew it.

What a fun night. I was tired for days.
