We had intentions of at least acknowledging the 10-year mark, but with surgery the day before, and the big first birthday party the day after, we sort of "cancelled" it. When the twins were born, Shane said, "Well, no more anniversaries for us."
I can honestly say, 10 years ago, I had no idea I would be taking a picture of the twins, standing on a case of beer, looking out the window of our dream home on the farm - watching their other two sisters play in the dirt outside.
What a journey it's been . . .
